Right click your Mario Kart Wii disk image in Dolphin and open its properties. The Riibalanced riivolution patch (link in the discord)

The le-code distribution you want to patch (I used Wiimms Mario Kart Fun but I don't see why other packs would not work with this method) I figured I would write a guide on how to do it, because it's a pretty convenient way to play! Wiimms mario kart fun has a similar Race.I had wanted to play Arcintel's riibalance mod on custom tracks without the burden of My Stuff folder file shuffling for a while and I finally figured out how to make it work. Only one or few very old versions should be open source so one could theoretically get that Race.szs file, but the cup icons back then are very pixelated iirc, so not a better solution. Since I don't play custom tracks really often, this is not a really big deal for me, but I wanted to let you know.ĬTGP uses a custom Race.szs (iirc) that contains a cup icons or whatever it was named image file, so swapping the custom character image files in that file and putting it into My Stuff will do the job unfortunately if I’m not wrong all newer versions of CTGP are not open source so that file can’t be accessed unless MrBean or someone else gives it to us.

Yoshi's Egg trophy, Ice Flower trophy, Bowser's Shell trophy.). Finally, since some of these files are relative to the menu, so modding them will corrupt the custom trophies' icons (e.g. It's a merge between the two files that will prevent the game from crashing. To avoid so, I suggest you to download this version. Also, the Award.szs file will probably crash the game as soon as the "ceremony" scene starts: this happens because in Mario Kart Wii's file system there are two different files named "Award.szs", and CTGP would replace both of them. A few notes: first, while the only file that contains the 32x32 icon (the one used for the minimap) is Race.szs, all other files contain the 64圆4 icon (the one used for the menu), some of them even two times (MenuMulti.szs, MenuOther.szs and even Race.szs itself). Which you can easily dump with WiiXplorer.
